R.S. Traditional House: renovating a 170 m² stone house in Bcharreh
A 170 m² traditional Lebanese stone house in Bcharreh, currently being renovated by Continuum. These photos show the work in progress.
The project
The house has the stone walls, tiled roof and turquoise shutters of a traditional mountain home. Inside, its original wooden board ceilings are being stripped back and restored, and the old panelled shutters stripped to bare wood.
New floors are going in, with wood-look plank tiles in some rooms and large-format tiles in others, laid with a levelling system, and the bathroom walls are clad in large-format tiles.
The works are still in progress. We will add photos of the finished house once they are complete.
