R.B. Duplex: a 300 m² apartment in Jeita

The execution of a 300 m² duplex apartment in Jeita over six months, from the floating staircase that links its two floors to the bathrooms and built-in joinery.

The project

We carried out the execution of this duplex over six months.

The two floors are linked by a floating staircase. Our crew welded its steel stringer and tread supports on site, then fitted dark marble treads, with light running under each step, an indoor planter and an LED-lit marble base, behind a screen of vertical rods and beside backlit round wall lights.

The bathrooms combine large-format tiles with a backlit round mirror over a marble-look counter, a frameless sliding shower door and a wall-hung WC. The bedrooms have built-in wardrobes with matte doors and tinted glass display cabinets.

Materials and finishes

A steel staircase structure with dark marble treads and an LED-lit marble base, a marble-look vanity counter, a feature wall in large veined slabs with metal inlays, large-format floor and wall tiles, wood panelling, and matte cabinetry with tinted glass.

Lighting: LED light under the steps and in the planter, backlit round wall lights and mirror, linear ceiling lights and a lit curtain pelmet.
